Great Fishing!!!

The fishing in the Lower Niagara is absolutely amazing right now. The shore guys are having success with Chartreuse beads and egg sacs under a float and on the bottom, spinners are also working . Lakers are being caught in abundance but remember Lake Trout season is still closed until December 1st, so please release them unharmed if you hook one. Steelhead and a few Browns are finally starting to be caught.

The Bass fishing has been on fire!! They are feasting for the winter and are hitting just about anything!! We love our Bass so please try to catch and release when possible. The big, bad boys are next years breeders and are not that tasty anyway. Hot spots for shore guys are at Youngstown and the boat docks at Fort Niagara. Boats are having success from Joe Davis to the Coast Guard.

I have heard wind of some Walleye and perch being picked up here and there by Lewiston off the boats . Walleye are also being caught on the Bar here and there when the wind cooperates. Wilson is a good place to go due to the many water access points and numerous species that can be fished in the area.

The Creeks, 18 Mile, Oak Orchard, primarily, have an abundance of fish but the water levels drop mid morning and fishing shuts down. Hopefully they can get this water flow situation squared up so we have a good Trout season.

Everyone be safe and get out and enjoy the fantastic fishing we are having!!!!!
